Rationale
Download the file and write your rationale directly on the document. Remember that your justifications can only be 200-300 words in length. Be concise with your ideas but defend all of your choices. What did you do and how did you do it? This is your chance to prove that you deserve top marks. I will give you feedback on one draft, if you would like. It needs to be emailed to me by Tuesday.
Reminder: Intended provenance means the magazine or online newspaper where your editorial will be published.
In my rationale, have I
☐ Established a connection between my piece and the course?
☐ Stated and explained the main ideas I am exploring and how I have developed them?
☐ Explicitly identified the intended audience and purpose?
☐ Explained my genre selection, language choices and narrative devices in relation to audience and purpose?
☐ Stayed within the 200-300 word limit?
